“Next On Stage: Off Phishing” is a blog about two subjects that seemingly have little in common: Cybersecurity and theatre. Yet, they are all about identity. The actor wishes to PROJECT their identity in order to gain both work (roles) and income (audiences). Cybersecurity, meanwhile, is about PROTECTING one’s identity from theft or fraud. This blog will focus on each, aiming for a tone for the beginner, rather than for IT professionals.
Bob Galley (he/him) holds a Bachelor’s in Theatre from the University of Houston and several IT credentials, including the CISSP. Since LinkedIn does not allow multiple profiles, one can find both his IT work history and theatre credits together.
